Finally back on the road

We finally made it back on the road!!! Left Tuesday, headed south and traveling slow. We drove a whopping 190 miles and stopped for 2 nights at Seven Feathers RV Resort in Canyonville, OR. The fall colors are beautiful. I love traveling this time of year.

Test camping the new 5th wheel.

We're finally taking the "new to us" 5th wheel out for a test drive before the big trip at the end of the month. Just want to make sure there are no major issues since we aren't familiar with the rig. Headed up to Quincy in central Washington for a couple weeks.

San Diego Area

We moved from Menifee to the San Diego area, Pio Pico Thousand Trails Park in Jamul, on the 28th. The park was pretty full so we had to park in the area without full hookups and no cell phone service. Jana, Joel, Heather and Travis drove down in the motorhome and spent 2 nights including New Years Eve. First time in probably 20 years we have stayed up to see the new year in. So much fun guys....thanks for coming. On Tuesday, we were able to move to the side of the park with full service and I now have cell service on the AT&T phone but no service for Gordy's Verizon phone. Wi-Fi is hit or miss. Some times it works great, most times...not so much.

We have the nicest spot in the park. It's huge, backs up to the hills and lots of trees. We decided to stay here longer than we first planned. At this point we are scheduled to leave on the 16th. But who knows as are plans change from day to day.
